At my doctor's appointment on Tuesday, it was the usual drill. I peed in a cup, they weighed me, took my blood pressure and the NP measured me and listened to the baby's heart beat. It was not my first internal exam so not only did that stupid nurse lady tell me that I have cankles, she also lied to me. I guess my first exam will be in two weeks.
I have gained a total of 18.8 lbs which is really good. The NP was very impressed saying that I am looking great and I haven't gained much at all. She said it's all the baby and that I shouldn't have much trouble losing the weight after the baby is born. That's awesome.
The baby's heart rate looked great and I am once again measuring perfectly. I go back in two weeks for my first internal exam and then my appointments start every week. We're really getting into the home stretch now!
