I forgot to post about my last doctor's appointment. It was very uneventful. We went on Tuesday and as usual, my weight and blood pressure look great. I gained one pound last week so I am up a total of 21 pounds. Right on target.
I didn't have an internal this week so I have no idea if I've made any progress. We will find that out on Tuesday. She measured the baby and estimated that she will be "a 7 pounder" at birth. I'm very happy with that.
She also noticed that I have a little problem with swelling. She said to just take it easy and to really monitor it. She said that swelling in my feet is super normal and minor swelling in my face and hands is also normal but to be careful that my face and hands don't swell too much. Trust me, I've been watching it. I tend to put my feet up right away if I feel like they are starting to swell too much. Part of the reason is that I hate the way my cankles look, especially if there will be other people seeing them.
We also met with our Pediatrician this week. He came recommended by our NP and we are both really pleased with him. He is super nice and loves to talk which I think is a good sign. I don't know how to explain it but I just got a really really good vibe from him. He said to call him anytime and not to worry about bothering him because he loves his job. I think he'll be just perfect.
