6 Months

We went to the doctor on Friday for her sixth month check-up. Everything looks great! She is now 16 lbs, 14.5 oz and 26 1/2 inches long. Apparently her head circumference made a huge jump in these last two months. The doctor actually remeasured her head because he thought the nurse got the wrong measurement. She got her usual round of vaccines. The appointment was right in the middle of a usual naptime so she was already tired and cranky. She was already screaming when the nurse gave her the vaccines and they just made her even more unhappy. I just held her and rocked her until she fell asleep in my arms. She slept for three hours after her appointment.

We had to tell the doctor that she isn't rolling over quite yet. She just doesn't seem interested. She wants to sit up or stand. She can sit unsupported now and she can even stand when she's holding onto something. The doctor didn't care how advanced she is in those areas though. Just that she's behind on rolling over. Of course last night she finally rolled over for the first time. Naturally the day after her appointment!

Overall everything looks great. I would say that her sleeping is getting better but we had a pretty bad night last night. I think she's teething and that may have awakened her a few times.
