8 Months

Colbie is 8 months now and so big! She pretty much sleeps through the night every night. She is standing up on her own now. She pulls herself up on everything she can reach. She is really good at crawling too. She will start crawling, stop and turn herself around without hesitation. She can also sit up very easily from a lying position. She just suddenly got the hang of it and she can't be stopped! I really think she'll be attempting to walk soon. I haven't weighed her yet but she has really grown in the last month. We're going to switch her to the bigger car seat this week. I thought this car seat would last longer than 8 months but oh well. We're lucky we already have the next sized car seat.

We rearranged some things in our home and her playroom is now in full working mode. I have most of her toys and play pen in there. We spend a lot of time in there and she mostly crawls around the room and tries to pull herself up on everything. She also loves to play with Alex. She loves Alex's ball. Yesterday they played together. Colbie kept crawling after the ball and Alex would take it away from her and run up and down the hall. It made Colbie laugh. It was the cutest thing!
