letters to baby: i saw you

hi baby.

i saw you yesterday. i cried when i saw you. we had our ultrasound and you were moving all over the place. i drank a little orange juice before we went because they say it makes babies more active. the ultrasound tech told us that you were a stubborn little thing because you kept hiding behind my belly button! i guess my belly button actually creates a lot of shadows and it makes it harder to see you.

you are perfect. everything about you is perfect. the tech showed us your heart, lungs, brains, kidneys, and they all look perfect. i absolutely can't wait to hold you.
