She also got 2 shots today. She didn't even cry after the first one! The nurse said the second one stings though so she was pretty upset after that one. We go back in 2 months for another check-up and more shots.

4 Months
We went to the doctor today for Colbie's 4 month check-up. Everything looks great! She is now 13 lbs, 10 oz and 24 1/4 in long. The doctor says she's perfect. We talked about her cradle cap, starting cereal, and her lack of sleeping through the night. He recommended putting some baby oil on her scalp every night for the cradle cap and I think that helps a little. He gave the go ahead on starting cereal so we gave that a try tonight. I'll write a separate post on that though. Finally, he said that it's okay that she doesn't sleep through the night, that's just who she is. I'm okay with this since I don't work so we just sleep a little later in the morning.

Colbie's First Christmas!
I know that I was probably more excited about Colbie's first Christmas than she was but I don't care. I made her outfit for Christmas Eve.
We had such an amazing day! We woke up around 8:30 to open presents. Colbie got a cute yellow and grey outfit, an interactive mailbox and an interactive steering wheel from Santa. We got her a gloworm and a jumperoo.

We went to my parents where she got a Bumbo and a bundle cover for her car seat.

3 Months
It seems I have some catching up to do! Colbie is almost four months old and I'm just now posting her 3 month pictures. We were very busy getting ready for her first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years!
We didn't go to the doctor at 3 months so I am only guessing that she weighed about 11 1/2 lbs at 3 months old. I have no idea how long she was though!
She is sitting up with little support now. We bought her a jumperoo for Christmas and she loves it! Her feet don't quite reach the ground so we have a blanket under it. She also doesn't yet understand how to jump but she moves around a lot and makes it light up and the music play. She sits there by herself and giggles while playing. It is so super cute.
